Dappled sunlight and bird song.

Scents of cedar, pine and salmon berry.

Soft deep brown of ground beneath

trees with silent stories to tell.

Oh! Green and yellow!

Your odious hello

startled me from my forest revery.

Come to greet the bears, have you?

Humble swamp lantern.
