Well, this is it! Poem #30. Life kind of went off the rails for me in the past few days so I have been bringing whatever I can. This one actually relates to yesterday's prompt "I remember". Following this I will return to my regular weekly Monday posts beginning May 9th.


I remember you

in a copper coloured

two piece bathing suit

watering the plants

at the front entrance

of the house on Folsom Street.

Platinum blonde hair

tied back in a pony tail.

You were gorgeous!

You were 36 years old.

I wanted to be you.
