NaPoWriMo Day 27 Prompt – Long Lines

Long Lines

Long lines at the gas station because the price at the pump is down five cents today.

Long lines in the grocery store in the five o’clock rush on the way home from work.

Long lines of nonsense on the covers of the rag magazines by the checkouts.

Long lines on your face as you shoulder your bags and carry them out to the car.

Long lines of “I need” as you enter the kitchen to start making dinner again.

And again and again and again and again long lines long lines long lines.
